The room was big and clean, the bed was comfortable, and it was cheap. OK, it's a Super 8 so it's not exactly luxurious but it's good value for money, especially with the breakfast. Some staff were very friendly, others less so but even they were ok. All in all, this hotel does its job. More

This motel was what I expected, being a Super 8. Still, there were two major annoyances: in the bathroom, there was a rack to hold clean towels but no towel bars for hanging wet towels or wash clothes. We really overpaid for a basement room in this hotel. We literally were below ground level. Creepy feeling. Beggars can't be choosers. It was the last room at the inn for the night. The breakfast ended at 9 a.m. so we missed out on the slim pickings in the morning. I wouldn't recommend this place. More

Biggest rule of the Yellowstone area is that it's a nightmare to get a decent room on a road trip if you don't have the luxury of knowing what night you're going to arrive. Unable to book a room at Mammoth Springs, we found a room in Gardiner at Super 8. The rooms was very clean, staff was helpful and recommended a local restaurant with the best buffalo burger ever! Good continental breakfast. Maybe expensive for a Super 8, but around Yellowstone there are no cheap rooms! More
