Very nice campground. Beautiful bathrooms and well kept grounds. Nice view overlooking the river and the town. You can see out to the north entrance gate of Yellowstone Park also. Only one bathroom room/Shower building...which is closed from like 11:00-Noon daily. Closed means closed. Head to town if you need to "go." Very strict, but that also helps keep it... More

Couldn't find a place in the park to camp so we decided to check out this place since it was so close to the north gate. I was hesitant because we camp in a tent and this is an RV Park, but I was so wrong. The man at the counter was super nice and gave us a deal on... More

We only spent one night here, but the campground was very nice and clean. We played mini golf a few times and enjoyed the small course. We thought this was a good launching point to explore the north half of Yellowstone and really enjoyed the boiling river-a must do in Yellowstone. I was a little worried about all the rules... More

Stayed here for four nights in June, 2012. Hosts had our reservation and we were escorted to our site which was exactly as it was described. We were given a brochure with every detail we needed to know, including codes for the bathroom and the free WiFi. Bathrooms were the cleanest I have EVER seen! Nice tile, always clean, always... We had 2 RV sites and a deluxe cabin. Worked out great for us. The staff was awesome. They helped us plan our days in Yellowstone and even suggested interesting things to do on our way home. Park is well run which means you can get a good night's sleep. They do have policies; however, nothing out of the ordinary... More

A first class RV park with some of the best views anywhere in the world. You are on a bluff above the Yellowstone river overlooking the town and Yellowstone Park. Elk and deer wander in the park. The bathrooms are to die for, I only wish I had used their designer when I built my home. It has all the... More

We stayed for 5 nights in a cabin and our parents joined us with their RV. We had a Deluxe Cabin and it was beyond great. The cabin is about the size of a hotel room and has a queen bed in one room. There was a same bunk room we didn't need that would work great for a couple... More

This was our 2nd time to this park (4 years apart). We were a group of 19 people. The first time was pleasant, but a little run down. On our 2nd visit, they had done many upgrades and the park was really nice. BUT, we were greeted by the owner with a VERY condescending attitude. She told us that quiet... More

This was the second time we have stayed at Rocky Mountain for the proximity to Yellowstone - the location can't be beat. This time the place was spruced up quite nicely and the bathrooms / showers are awesome! But... The sites are pretty narrow and you have to pay extra for a fire pit. Additionally, the office staff are extremely... More

We, (family of 5) stayed here in 2010 and enjoyed it enough to book 8 nights in 2011. We found the staff very friendly and helpful. beautiful site up top, backed into, with a view over yellowstone river and the north entrance. Not sure on why some call the place noisey, we stayed both times in July, peak season, of... More
