The room was clean but needed updated. The place is a little expensive for what you get. They don't even offer a free cup of coffee. The only good thing about the place was that one of the people that worked there let us use his bear spray. I still haven't figured out what the utility surcharge was for. More

We stayed at the Rising Sun after a last minute backpacking cancellation. They only had one room available (handicap accessible w/no view) but we were very glad to have it. The room was basic and clean. The location is excellent - only 12 miles from Logan Pass which is the closest of any hotel. More

We stayed at a motel room in the rising sun motor inn and it was better than we expected. Nice room, it was clean and comforable. The room had 2 queens. Like most park motels you can hear your neighbours. Would stay here again. More

Old unfinished cabins, shower small as a coffin, tiny beds, smelly stained carpet (urine?) bathroom swarming with ants (they did come to spray when I complained, thus creating ongoing dead insect carcass situation on floor), no surface area for suitcases or toiletries(mini-wall sink in sleeping area).
