We visited Glacier in 2011. East Glacier Park Lodge at $200+ per night was for us a huge ripoff. Small rusting bathroom sink, and dingy tiny room. The front desk kept promising that something better would come up and it never did, so we spent over $600 for 3 days. The Mexican restaurant in town was great. More

The lodge is beautiful and the rooms are adequate. The bathrooms are very very small and cramped and you could hear a lot of outside noise while in the room. Since we didn't spend a lot of time inside the room, this wasn't a big deal. The lodge itself is beautiful. The lobby was a nice place to hang out... More

We last visited Glacier in June of 2008. Time flies. Stayed at the Glacier Park Lodge. Didn't get to drive the Going to The Sun Road. Closed. Drove it in 1997. Everyone should drive it. Not to be missed. The Glacier Park Lodge was most delightful. We took the Red Bus tour to Waterton and had high tea there. Not... More

The lodge is beautiful. The rooms are what you would expect in a national park lodge. I have 2 complaints. Lighting in the room is very dim. I realize it is for the good of the enviornment, however, as an older person it made it hard to read. The bathroom was ridiculously small. I had to stand sideways to brush... More

I was not expecting much - I knew the lodge was old and there were no amenities. The lobby was impressive as well as the views. The room was large but you could hear the guests above you walking around - the bathrooms were teeny tiny. We did not eat in the formal dining room however the food in the... More

Do your homework prior to booking a stay: it it an old, historical building, the walls are thin, there is no elevator! it is clean, has a friendly atmosphere, the dining room is very very good(high quality meats, veggies with great service) There have been a few negative comments about the noise level, the cleanliness, etc.--but I think knowing what... I guess we were paying for the vintage grand lobby as the room, although it had electricity and piped water, could have been better maintained. More

We adore the Old Faithful Inn so we had high expectations staying in this historic national park lodge. We have no issue with the lack of amenities that others expect, like television. This hotel does have some disadvantages vs. the OFI and for a higher price. First, no elevators and high ceilings, making the climbs up and down very long.... More

Stayed at this hotel in early August, got home the very next day and found that many bed bugs had returned home with us. We have been fighting them since. We received a survey from the hotel, and the bed bugs were mentioned. To date we have not heard anything back from that survey, so we concluded that the survey... More

Stayed there two nights in August as part of an organized tour. The hotel itself is a grand landmark that is beautiful. The staff was friendly, but lacked the customer focus typically found in top flight "for profit" hotels. Glacier Park Lodge is the only real game in town - and seems to take advantage of it. Likes: Historic, grand... More
