Driving east, we decided to pull over for the night and chose the Holiday Inn along the interstate. The property looks new. It has a large conference center. The beds/linens were amazingly comfy and the bathroom was clean and well-appointed. Fitness area and pool looked great although we didn't have time to use them. Would stay here again. more

We stayed here over the 4th of July. This Holiday Inn was like many others, clean, friendly, and the location was great. Very close to many local attractions and a lot of places to eat nearby. I would defintely stay here again and recommend to my friends and family. more

I thought my corporate travel agent booked me at the Holiday Inn Express, but it was the Holiday Inn. The interior is nice and the rooms are well appointed. I missed the free breakfast and other "freebies" that you get at Holiday Inn Express, but would recommend this hotel if staying in Springfield. more

Nice Holiday Inn but area surrounding is a bit "iffy". I noticed that Sunshine street was kind of the dividing line between the have's and the have not's. Hotel in bad need of renovation or better yet, demolition. This hotel is one of the worst properties I have ever stayed at. Normally a Courtyard or Hampton Inn guest, I stayed here because the guy I was traveling with made the reservation. I'm surprised by some of the high marks posted to this hotel. I typically stay at moderate hotels (Comfort Suites, Courtyard, etc.) and this property would not come close in comparison to those. I went to springfield with my girlfriend to re-ignite our relationship. We stopped at Holiday Inn North thinking "no way we can afford this." The only room they had left was a Honey-moon suite, so they let us book it at the cost of a standard room rate...WOW! That is a weekend I will never forget! more

I really enjoyed staying here. The staff was extremely friendly and really seemed to care. I also had a meeting there and everything was very good. I had great service and the food was excellent. They have a great location and I will stay there whenever I am in town. more
