Drury Inns offers this inexpensive alternative to their "Pear Tree" or "Drury Inn & Suites" properties. This place is convenient for a quick night's rest - outside doors make it easy in/ easy out. Concrete constructions means it is quiet! Unlike motel 6, the rate was the same for 2 people. ($39). Amazingly, it includes hot breakfast over at the...

For a one night stop it was a great place, it is three stories and no elevator but the higher up you go the cheaper the rate of the room (if you are willing to carry your stuff up stairs). It is part of the Drury line of hotels, in the same is parking lot is Drury hotel, Pear Tree...

I recently drove to New Orleans and back to Wisconsin with my three teens. We booked at another chain in New Orleans, and I truly wish we had known about Drury Inn and Thrifty Inn earlier. I would have booked the entire five days in New Orleans.
We found out about Thrifty Inn from a road sign on the way...

We stayed at the Thrifty Inn on 12/31/09. We stayed due to price, and the fact that they had an indoor pool. The room was on the third floor so we had the cheapest room, and the room itself was much nicer than expected, it was clean, and up to date with the look...or as well as any other motel...

Great room, perks, clean hotel, friendly personnel, great rates, free Internet; we (myself, husband & 20 yr old son) stayed at this hotel for one night on our way to Indy. Also, stayed here on the way back to Louisiana and arrived late, again 2nd visit was better than the 1st.
We'd stay again, for the rates, room & service...

If you have ever stayed in a Drury Hotel....then this place is not for you...the place was a dump if you ask me....my kids would not sleep on the bed and the furniture was old and the room had a stale smell as if the carpet has been there forever which had more stains in it then I can count....

You won't be disappointed with this hotel for the price. Clean rooms...comfortable beds...very friendly staff...and a great breakfast. Nice pool out back also but usually a lot of kids running around and playing. I have stayed at just about every other hotel in this town and would choose this one over anyone else. Don't let the outside appearance fool you....
