We loved the homey atmoshpere. It fit right in with our trip. While all our family met there no one intruded and left us in the tea room as long as we wanted. very nice people, but need to take the business more serious. needs some fresh paint and outside maintance, path to pond would be nice. pictures were not taken at supper like advertised in the magazine i read. We spent a most wonderful night at the Amish Country Inn in late August 2002. We stayed in "Laura's Room", named for Laura Ingalls Wilder whose homestead is not far. The park-like setting is beautiful. It is so quiet and serene here. There is a gift shop that takes up most of the ground floor along with the dining area.... more
