I stayed at the Lumiere in St. Louis on May 29th for one night. They are all suites. I got a view of the Arch and bridge. The room was very nice (house cleaning could do a little better job in the bathroom but the bed was clean, nice white covers and sheets). The bathroom was clean but the corners... More

If you are looking for a four star hotel, this isn't it. As other reviewers have stated, the elevators are poor, decorations lacking, the clientele a bit scary at times, the cleanliness lacking, the noise overwhelming. A few examples of our experience; I pulled back the cotton coverlet on the bed, and there were older looking blood stains on the... More

We stayed at HoteLumiere at the end of a tiring trip and loved the wonderful suite, beds with silkie-smooth sheets and fluffy pillows. Our room was clean, quiet and spacious. The sitting room is comfortable and has large tv and refrigerator stocked with a variety of choices. It is close to The Arch & museum and the night life of... More

We stayed at the hotel for my birthday celebration. It was right next to The Landing so we had plenty to do. The rooms slept us all very comfortably, and you could not hear noise from other rooms. It was a fantastic trip and a nice hotel.

My wife and I were expecting a 4 Star Hotel for the price of $249.93! What we got was a updated Holiday Inn or Embassy Suites! Bathrooms are small and need major updating. The room all in all looked like it was rennovated by a college kid and not a professional. When asked to change rooms due to us not... More

Sleeping Rooms are fine, parlor is ok, bathrooms are very small, the problem is just the layout of the hotel. The massive courtyard with a bar in the middle of it, surrounded by 9 floors of rooms on four sides, creates a massive echo chamber effect. You'll hear backwoods hooligans at all hours of the day, no doubt packed 6+... More

If you like Embassy Suites, you'll like this hotel because is was one. It is right next to the casino with a walkway, so expect to see a lot of 'interesting people' as one previous reviewer mentioned. The decor in the lobby is very bright and nice. The hotel staff was nice and even provided some complimentary breakfast coupons. Which... More

Rooms were clean, Was in a queen sized suite on top floor. With an open area in the middle there was a LOT of noise echoing around. Even late at night it was a bit noisy for my tastes. No street noise, it was people noise in the hallways. (Not something I normally notice) but when you get people hooting... More

The staff seemed nice, but this hotel was full of people you wouldn't expect to run into at a supposeldy 3.5-4 star hotel. I guess the casino next door attracts some interesting people. The room was fine, although the furniture in the suite had some stains and was kind of gross. The lighted mirror in the bathroom didn't work, the... More
