This hotel was low-average price and the tub was dirty and the carpet around th edges were dirty, but for the price we paid, I've stayed in worse. I just always wore my shoes on the carpet, because it felt grungy, too. While we were driving from STL to FT Leonard Wood at 0300 we decided to stop for the night. On the way I called Holiday Inn Express and they wanted $110 for the remainder of the night so we decided to let their room go empty. Stayed at this hotel on 4/15/09 and on 4/24/09 on our trip down to Texas. Very clean and had a nice stay on both nights. Breakfast was good. Very good senior rate. more

We stayed at this hotel while in route to our final destination in Texas it was clean and the service was okay, but overall our stay was just average - normally holiday expresses have big fluffy towels and pillows and this particular one did not - kudos on those shower heads though we always want to take those with us. more

Whether you're traveling to Rolla on business or leisure, I highly recommend this hotel. The hotel defines excellent hospitality--especially for a small rural town. The staff was friendly and very responsive to meeting our expectations. Further, the room was very clean and comfortable as the furnishings looked almost brand new.And the breakfast bar, the cinnamon rolls were delicious as advertised!... more

Room was very small, but did have queen beds. Bathroom tiny as well. Lots of wear & tear showing in bath area and in hotel halls. Breakfast bar area was too small. more
