We stayed here in March after taking in the Zihua Guitar Festival. As we rolled into this resort in our taxi, my first impression was WOW, great location and superb grounds! As we got out of the taxi, Mike the GM was right there to greet us and we had the special occasion of having the owners there also at... More

This resort should be in a category all by itself. Mike and Lori (ex-pats from Washington State) make this place feel like you are visiting your family in your hometown. Your “home” just happens to be on the ocean, has a beautiful pool, private comfortable bungalows facing the ocean. After traveling down some dusty roads, the gates open to the... More

My husband and I spent 10 days in Majahua at a vacation rental house with friends and were lucky enough to find Majahua Palms right down the beach. Over our time there, we visited for happy hour, dinner with friends, and also rented a surf board and a couple kayaks to explore the fresh water lagoon. Lorena, Mike and their... More

I admit, I was skeptical - The remote location, dirt road, bewildered taxi driver - but WOW!. What a beautiful spot to rest and relax. We loved every minute and did not want to leave. Mike, Lori, Benito, Jose and the rest of the staff were so gracious and the food (!!) - I tried nearly everything on the menu... More

Recently the wife and I went down to Zihuat to get a break from the pathetic rainy weather of the Seattle winter. After attending the International Guitar Festival for a few days, we needed to take it down a notch, and had decided to revisit the Majahua Palms just up the north coast a bit. Upon arrival time slowed down,... More

We spent a week, which wasn't nearly long enough! From the moment we arrived, Mike, Lori, Benito and staff made us feel at home. If you are looking for a touristy, busy beach, loud parties, and people everywhere...this is NOT your place! If you are looking for a secluded, peaceful, relaxing piece of paradise...this IS your place. We enjoyed evening... More

From the first minute, the staff went out of their way to make our stay wonderful. The grounds are kept immaculate, the smiles are genuine, and the food is amazingly fresh and wholesome.

Just back from a week, and could have stayed a month! Mike, Benito and entire staff are the best! Accommodations, food, service, are really nice. I think one day we saw more cattle (5) on 2 mile section of beach than people (4). Views of beach and sunsets are tops, fishing with Benito one day saw whates, sea turtles, rays,... More

Just a quick THANKS to Mike & Lorena and the great staff at Majahua Palms. We enjoyed a heavenly week at the resort. We enjoyed a great reunion with our large extended family and felt so treated in this remote and beautiful location.
