The only people I would NOT recommend this place to are people that either are allergic to dogs/cats (the owners 4 well behaved dogs are frequent company in common areas) and those who require every modern convienance (note, no TV). We stayed en route to Italy, on a driving holiday. Easy to find, the chateau was beautiful, authentic and wonderfully comfortable. The initial greeting by the resident doggies was lovely, followed by a warm and charming welcome from the owners themselves. An evening spent wandering in the gardens as the sun set, drinking Chatueau Longsard wine ... just perfect!
