We had such an amazing stay at Le Mas D'Arvieux. It was high season, so we were SO lucky to find a cancellation on the nights we would be in Tarascon. I would highly recommend this location for cyclist and those who wish to tour the wineries of the region. Breakfast was amazing poolside and tucked between the olive and... More

The hosts exemplify what hospitality is all about. The room was spacious with tea and coffee making facilities, a big bathroom a sofa and a big comfortable bed. The mas is charming and seemed no more than an hour from anywhere in Provence yet rural. The delicious breakfasts served by the pool when possible with jams and olives from their fields... More

Stayed for 1 week in two rooms....and enjoyed it thoroughly. Location is perfect for day tripping around Provence (Orange, Avignon, Arles, Nimes, le Pont du Gard, Chateauneuf du Pape, Camarque...and more if you have time). Breakfast is ample (crossants and fresh bread, cheese, fresh fruit, fruit nectar, coffee, tea, hot chocolate), comes with homemade jam (made by owner) and is... More

We stayed for 4 nights in late June-- less traffic and no crowds so easy travelling about, and Alex and Carolyn warmly welcomed us into their beautiful home in a tranquill setting, surrounded by acres of their olive and fruit trees There was easy access to the main Avignon road centrally located for visiting Tarascon, Arles, St Remy, Avignon, Gordes,... We stayed in the Tower Room which was very spacious. Lots of stairs, but if you have young kids like us, they won't mind that a bit. The top floor had beautiful views out over the valley and we got to see otters swimming in the little creek behind the property. The property was gorgeous with a sunflower field, olive... More

We had long dreamed of a trip to Provence and our stay at this wonderful place was a very big part of making that dream come true. The hosts were delightful. Carolyn met us at the mas with a smile and this smile continued throughout our stay. We stayed in the Tower Room and if you don't mind the stairs... More

We stayed for a week with Alex and Carolynn and had a thoroughly lovely relaxing time in the lovely home. The room (Tower Room) was beautifully peaceful and done in a very nice French style. If I had one ( and it is only one) critiscism it is that on the our last night we had to move to a... More

I have been coming to France for many years, and my mother grew up in Tarascon, so I know the area here well. We chose the Mas for a 40th birthday celebration and from the moment we arrived we felt welcomed, happy and very very lucky to be staying there. The rooms are gorgeous, with the most lovely antique furniture... More

We have just got back from our honeymoon and we stopped at Le Max d'Arvieux for three nights. We came away wishing we had stayed for longer!! We stayed in the Camargue room which was really spacious and comfortable. My (new!) husband is a nightmare and always wakes up really early but even he slept until 08:30! Breakfasts have been...
