The hotel is gourgeus. Our room was big and the furnished with soft modern bed, fast internet connecttion. The bathroom was great with a big walk-in shower and fabulous bath. I am a member and receive a room upgrade. I went the hotel in my birthday, the hotel not give me anything, the concierge not send congratulation. Its better when... More

If you are looking for something unique, this is truly the place. At the heart of a gorgeous countryside location, this place combines peace and beauty. The garden that falls down the hill in a cascade, the cloister at the heart of which you will have a truly exquisite dinner (the chef's cuisine in itself is worth the detour), the... More

We went out of our way to visit the spa after reading the article in Conde Nast Traveler from Summer of 2010. They did handle our reservations well, but I was very disappointed with the deluxe facial treatment. Twice during the treatment the esthetician just left the room. The 4 and 5 star spas that I have been to in... More

I liked this Relais and Chateaux property alot. Unlike several of the hotels we have stayed at in France this place was not stuffy at all and manages to combine a historical building with modern amenities. Our room was small but very nicely furnished with soft modern bed, fast internet connection and good shower and bathroom. The staff are quite... More

We stayed at Le Couvent back in March and planning to go back again. The rooms have been decorated with lots of attention to detail. The bed was so comfortable and it had a little window just above so you could fall sleep watching the stars. The bathroom was great with a big walk-in shower and fabulous bath. We ate... More

Spyns brought a large group (20+ rooms / 40+ clients) to this lovely property as part of our Tour de France tours in July 2011. Starting with the positives, the front-line staff (reception + porters) were top-notch. The hotel is stunning with beautiful grounds, gardens, a heated pool (rare in France) and spa. They also put on a very good... More

For the money we spent it was a little disappointing. The food and wine were REALLY expensive and not alot of variety. We stayed 5 nights and were disappointed the menu did not change or offer specials for variety. We tried to make 2 different spa appointments on 2 different days, with no luck. I think if you are going... More

The staff of Restaurant "Le Bancaou" was very young, unprofessional and even rude (except for the sommelier). We had made a reservation for the restaurant, but when we arrived there was no table available. The girl at the reception of the restaurant told us we could choose any table we liked. But when we sat down at a table, a... More

This is essentially a country-house hotel, albeit one with an ancient, beautifully restored exterior and common areas, with modernist decor and furnishings. It's extremely handsome, very nicely situated on a hillside with lovely views of a Provencal valley, and has a faultlessly courteous staff. The food is as well-prepared as the physical aspects of the building. But the spirit and... More
