The Elms is a beautifully remodeled resort hidden in Excelsior Springs, MO. The hotel, spa and surrounding grounds combine modern conveniences with the charm and history of this hotel. We hosted a wedding and reception with people attending from over 15 states and it was a pleasure to showcase this little gem.

This is a gorgeous hotel that has a very relaxing feel to it. The only downside was the beds. They are memory foam. If you are not used to sleeping on those or are one who doesn't do well sleeping on those, it will be a long and frustrating sleep. The outdoor pool is nice and the indoor lap pool... More

wonderful place to stay and very friendly staff. Recently remodeled, gorgeous place and beautiful grounds. Lots to do between the spa, grotto, pool, fire pit, volley ball, herb garden, scenic walk and outdoor patio. The beds are very comfortable and each room has a keurig. The town is small, but has some very unique shops.

Old time elegance similar to the Drake in Chicago or Peabody in Memphis. Everything top notch. The background music playing set the mood upon arrival (and throughout the stay) and was not annoying loud. I have stayed in hotel/motels overnight 100 plus nights each year and this is as well managed a facility as any.
