I was looking for a less-expensive place to stay in the St. Louis area while working on one of my projects, and the Candlewood Suites fit the bill. The rooms themselves are basic, with a not-too-large TV, but they do have kitchen facilities...important when you're on per diem and don't want to eat out every meal. The property is kept... more

Beds have gotten much better. Rooms now have DVD and VCR players. For the price, this hotel is a fantastic deal. Hotel staff very nice. Really great place to stay for long term. more

The incident involving the employee of Candlewood suites,Earth CIty: Evening Shift desk clerk; On the evening of 2/23/07 approx 18:30. Desk Clerk attempted to use force to enter our room; He used his strength and three direct hits to the door with great force to dislodge the lock that folds across the door; He did not identify himself or his... more

AC is extremely noisy. Rooms are clean, and well serviced. Free laudromat. Free video tape rental from Front Desk. Nice exercise room and equipment. Interesting honor system snack and nick nack bar. Bed is somewhat uncomfortable. Cheap and flimsy feeling LAZYBOY type chair. Next to RAMS training facility which is interesting. A business park setting overall that is quite pleasant.... more
