This small friendly hotel lacks some amenities, but that lack is more than made up by the courteous, helpful, gracious personnel. They try to accommodate their guests every need.

We booked the Daniele through Hotwire for $42. This was a good value. Downtown St. Louis was only about 15 minutes by car. The hotel also has a Town Car shuttle to the rail station which is five minutes from the hotel. Probably pretty nice years ago, but now poorly maintained. Bathroom- holes in wall, sink rusted, musty and dingy. We were very pleased with our stay at The Daniele. We were a little skeptical after reading some of the reviews but we were very pleased. We booked our room through Hotwire for ($38) a night. In a beautiful location and can walk to nearby restaurants as well!
