My husband and I had a nice quiet time in Clarksville. We stayed in 2N, it was nice. Not too big or small. There are other rooms a little more spacious. I would say if you are upstairs, it doesn't matter if you are in a room with a view overlooking the pool and the garden. They have a NICE,... More

If you want to get away from your hectic life in the city, this is the place to go. It is not a traditional B&B in that the owner does not live in the home and does not prepare breakfast at the home. You check-in at the Station and will be escorted to Cedarcrest and shown to your room and... More

My wife and I stayed a night at Cedarcrest Manor in the fall. It's located about 60 min. from the St. Louis area. We aren't normally bed and breakfast people, but were given a one night stay and went over a weekend. We didn't know what to expect and were pleasantly surprised. This place really is an oasis! The house... More

We LOVED this place. We went to the B&B with 2 other couples. The town is small but hosts several antique and art shops. Some of them are very cool...and a great little coffee house that serves good breakfast. But other than this street with the shops and a few riverfront stores that is it when it comes to shopping.... We agree with "Mixed Feelings". The room and bath were really elegant. The food in the restaurant was excellent ( compliments to the chef), but was qutie expensive for what you get. As for the area the grounds were beautiful but this is were the good news ends. The heated pool was COLD and DIRTY, the breakfast was a do... More

My girlfriends and I stayed two nights at Cedarcrest Manor. The six of us go to a B&B every year for a girlfriend trip, so we've been to quite a few different ones. If you are looking for the "normal" experience of someone welcoming you at the door with a plate of homemade cookies, and a nice cold drink...this is... More

The house is gorgeous set high on a hill; The view is stunning; Our room and bath were sumptuous; and, to top it off the food at their restaurant was phenomenal!!! We enjoyed swimming in the heated pool in the lovely garden area. Then returning to the house to sip on a complimentary glass of sherry while playing one of... More

On a Friday road trip up the Mississippi River to Hannibal, where we had a reservation at a cheap chain motel, my wife and I stopped for a late lunch at the Clarksville Station Restaurant. We enjoyed a delicious meal of soup, salad and unique sandwiches, and learned that the restaurant was part of a complex called Overlook Farms, which... More

My husband and I are telling everyone we know about our fantastic experience at Overlook Farm www.overlookfarmmo.com. There aren't words to describe the level of elegance in the room and the whole Inn. We stayed in Rackheath House rather than Cedarcrest but toured Cedarcrest as well. There were guests swimming in the outdoor pool there with steam rising off of... More

We have noting bad to say about the Cedarcrest Manor B&B. From the gourmet breakfast to the opulent furnishings and beautiful setting. The room was large, beautiful, and had a great view of the Mississippi river. The bath had shiny marble on every surface and a high quality jetted tub, and heated floors. In the back of the building there... More
