We had a wonderful time at The Laurel Inn. Our 45th class reunion. "Hazel", the Great Dane is an amazing animal and not at all like described in a previous review. She is a gentle giant, and very well mannered. The Laurel Inn is the BEST place to stay when in Laurel, Mississippi! More

To stay at the Laurel Inn B&B is to take a step back to a slower and more gentle place and time. The relaxing atmosphere envelopes the traveler and gives a feeling of warmth and home. Mike and Allison convey friendliness without crowding. The house, itself, is warm and inviting. I loved the furnishings of the home and the breakfast... More

My family and I stayed twice at the Laurel Inn during the month of April. My sister and her family had stayed there before and recommended it. The Travis family are wonderful and they made our stay very enjoyable. The food was great and the rooms are very comfortable with everything you could possibly need. The house is a lovely... More

I needed a large place to host a baby shower for my sister. The Laurel Inn was perfect!! Not only was the location convenient, the rooms were comfortable, yet elegant and beautiful at the same time!! Mike and Allison were extremely accomodating, and professional at the same time. Having access to the kitchen was a definite plus. I strongly recommend... More

I found the Laurel Inn B&B when trying to locate a hotel/motel in Laurel that would allow my mini-dachshund. What I soon discovered is that there is no other acceptable alternatives in Laurel if you have a pet. Now that I've stayed at the Laurel Inn, I'm completely sold on the fact that, with or without a pet, there is... More

I'm new to B & B's and judging by this experience, I have been really missing out. Mike and Allison are great people and their little "Gracie" is a delight. It felt like staying at home. I especially enjoyed the garden area in the back of the house with the cool, crisp morning and chirping birds. Breakfast was great...This is... More

As a traveling businessman for most of my career, the Laurel Inn has become a welcome sight at the end of a working day. It's friendly and comfortable atmosphere has made it a must stay while I'm working in the Laurel/ Hattiesburg market. Allison and Mike Travis are gracious hosts and have become dear friends. The rooms are all furnished... More

What a gem! This place is in a great location for business travelers to stay several days. For long-distance travelers to/from New Orleans, Miami, Atlanta, St. Louis, or Dallas, it is worth taking at least a half day to enjoy the ambience and quaintness of Laurel including a wonderful regional museum and local eateries. Laurel Inn B & B is... More

Since we own a vacation rental ourselves, we were very observant of all details. Mike and Allison were such pleasant hosts: very friendly without "hovering". The bed was SO comfortable and the breakfasts delicious. We had a choice of staying with friends, but found the privacy at the Inn was so worth paying to stay there. More

I stayed at the Laurel Inn last year as well. I loved my room. A huge king bed with tons of fluffy pillows. The room is very clean and charming. It had a large bathroom with lots of towels. I felt as comfortable as being at home. Alison prepared a nice breakfast for me so I could eat and leave... More
