When we arrived at this hotel and walked inside, we were pleasantly surprised. The lobby area is beautiful and has a nice waterfall with ducks swimming around. The clerk at the front desk was very nice and helpful. We didn't use the pool or hottub, but walked through and its also quite nice.

This hotel is large with a nice pool and great happy hour and breakfast as well as a very convenient location in downtown St. Paul. The open courtyard with duck ponds is interesting and delights the kids. However the rooms are in need of an update. Blankets felt like they were made out of plastic. The restaurant was unimpressive.
