My son and I were utterly charmed by this wonderful historic house. We were even more delighted with the lovely proprietor, who made us feel completely at home. This is a Victorian mansion filled with gorgeous carved woodwork on a lovely street, a few minutes from Macalester by car. Breakfast was delicious. Warm and welcoming, and totally a pleasure.

Bill Gray, the proprietor is a gem of a person. Hospitable, and a great conversationalist over breakfast. Oh, and the B&B is very elegant, and located in a nice neighborhood. Treat yourself and stay with him.

We went here for the weekend and it was very nice! A great place to stay in St Paul, so close to Grand Ave and all the nice things.

We had a wonderful stay at Cathedral Hill while our son was doing a visit down the road at Macalester College.
