My husband is a Mayo patient so we travel to Rochester frequently. Have stayed at several properties and have not found any that are head-and-shoulders above the rest. Room was nice with 2 queen beds which were very comfy and we enjoyed the down pillows. We enjoyed the free wireless internet and cable TV. Was here for business at the Mayo Clinic. Many hotels have a sky walk so you do not have to go outside in the cold Minnesota winter, including this hotel. Room was well appointed, including free internet, flat screen TV, fridge and a super comfortable bed with high quality bedding. Service was friendly and efficient. This was my first time in MN and I enjoyed staying here. The staff is friendly, room is comfortable and the breakfast is good. Parking is a challenge but it is downtown and they will valet. There are several restaurants within walking distance. There is a mall connected to the hotel next door. Not bad at all. more

We stayed in this hotel because someone else booked a package at another hotel that was hit by lightning and the hotel hit by lightning put us up here at the same rate as their rooms would have been.
