We stayed three nights at the end of May for a family reunion. The rooms were clean and the soundproofing was as advertised. Stayed here twice between 2004 and 2006. The hotel is relatively secluded, a few minutes out of town, and the service is pretty good. The free breakfast is a nice plus. We are so sorry to hear that there was such an unpleasant experience with our property. We are taking steps to update all of our bedding to create more of a "like home" feel. We chose the Americinn for its "no smoking" policy. The room size was average but it could use some extra cleaning. There was pink bacteria on the bottom of our toilet and on the removable hand held shower head (I cleaned the shower head myself) . My son's room did not have the same probelm.
