It was about the only reasonable priced place near the border. Room was comfortable but somewhat high priced for a casino.

I first stayed in Aug., '95 one night with my wife before going to Isle Royale. I have stayed many times since then, especially when there used to be a "bus" between Thunder Bay and Duluth. We stayed at this hotel on a Wednesday night and got a great deal. We just had to join the casino players club and we got $30 off our room and $5 each in players dollars. Plus we got a discounted breakfast. The room was clean and nice. It was a great deal!
