I have stayed several times at the Duluth Spirit Mountain Red Roof Inn. I have always been treated very well, staff are very friendly, The rooms are clean and have a "Northland" feel about them. I will continue to stay at this hotel. And now my son is staying there was well. more

We always feel very comfortable and welcome when we stay at the Red Roof Inn, in Duluth Minnesota. I will not look for another place to stay up there. We stayed one night during the week and the hotel was so noisy. All through the night you could hear doors slamming. The shower was so short (I'm 5'5) that I had to bend to use it. more

I never even realized that Hotwire dealt with Red Roof until I got this in a relatively last minute Duluth bid. Its kind of a funky location--right next to the freeway, but quiet. Staff was freindly and helpful, continental breakfast was OK--I happen to be addicted to those do it yourself waffle makers. Dirty, feces on our bathroom walls, shower curtain smelled so strong of urine we couldn't shower, it was hardly tolerable just using the restroom. I have stayed here a few times in the past when they put on specials. They have screwed up and charged my charge card after I paid cash, but after a few phone calls it was fixed. Always tell them before check out that you did not use the safe, as they ALWAYS charge you for the in room safe.... more

My Mother, brother, granddaughter and I stayed here this July. Our room was upgraded to poolside and a cot provided without the bat of an eye. They were courteous at all times, giving us tourist advice, giving my granddaughter tokens for the game room, responding immediately when we asked for anything.
