This is a very nice property by Carlson. It is located on the outskirts of DL between and Lake and the very busy train tracks. It is clean and a good value. Our only complaint would be the noise from the trains. They accept pets for a modest fee of $20.00 per stay. We would probably stay here again More

This hotel is right next to a train track that is frequented by trains all throughout the day and night, and they blow their horns every time they come through. I only slept about two hours. I will never stay here again. More

We reserved a night's stay online in Detroit Lakes on our travel to be with family in North Dakota. A somewhat unfriendly and "too busy" front desk person checked us in to a very unclean room.
