Saw the bad review from July 2010. We stayed the same month had opposite experience. Staff very accommodating, even making food for my daughter with special diet. My family loved it. It was very expensive but it is the way to go if not driving from home with ability to bring food, gear, etc. We came from out-of-state and came... More

It was our first time visiting Lost Lake but I could see returning in upcoming years for sure. Our four-year-old had a blast and the meals were wonderful. The kids program was a welcome addition and we had so much fun on our nature walk. Pros - Beautiful grounds, excellent housekeeping, inexpensive local activities, easy boat rental, fishing poles, great... More

My 5 classmates and I could not have picked a more wonderful place to reconnect for our 45th high school reunion. Our cabin was spotless and the staff was always eager to help. Meals were amazing. Everything you can imagine for a trip to the lake:beach, raft, canoe, bikes, volleyball etc. Be sure to hike the trail around Lost Lake. It truly is a... More

It's expensive and the staff and management make you feel like they are doing you a favor by having you stay. Don't bother! There are lots of other options that Are more friendly, have better service, and are better priced. More

We last stayed at Lost Lake in 2007 and are planning to go again in 2010. The only reason we haven't been back is the price - it's a bit spendy but absolutely worth every penny. The kids' program is wonderful. The beach is perfect for kids, and there are so many other kid-friendly activities. Meals are fabulous, and even... More

Just got back from Lost Lake Resort and we wish we were still there! Staff was very accommodating for someone with a food allergy in addition to the food being fabulous. Cabins were private and clean. There is a private slip for your boat if you want to bring it. There are lots of activities for adults and kids. The... More

This is my family's favorite up north Minnesota resort. The cabins are cozy and clean. Meals are included in the price and the food is outstanding - like a gourmet restaurant. There is a access both to a small private lake, Lost Lake, as well as Gull Lake with a lot of recreational choices, both in the water and on... More

Because this resort is small and tucked away, it is not well known, and that may be intentional--they seem to attract plenty of guests anyway. The property is immaculate, the cabins simple, the charms basic, the attractions timeless. Trails, marked with signs pointing out burial mounds, forest regeneration patterns, and why dead trees are left to rot (to sustain various... More

We just return from this resort and had a fabulous time. It is a beautiful, newly remodeled, smaller resort on the Gull Lake Narrows. There are 13 one to three bedroom cabins all facing the narrows. Each cabin has a deck, wood burning fireplace and a great view. It is an all inclusive resort and a fabulous four course dinner... More
