april 12-15th 2012... Just got back from our getaway and enjoyed every sec of it. From the minute that we walked in till the minute we walked out we felt at peace and relaxed. The property was kept up well, and Rodney was wonderful! He was very helpful with letting us know what there was to do and where to... More

03.11.12- 03.14.12 My husband and I were looking for a quick (2 hr drive) and peaceful retreat from Chicago and we found it at Rabbit Run Inn. The beach is nearby (Cherry Beach or Grand Mere State Park to hike to the beach), the woods (Warren State Park, no one else there the whole afternoon) or nearby Sawyer (small town... More

Our family stayed here for a last-minute Fall getaway. It is, hands down, the best hotel/inn in the area. Very quaint - beautifully decorated and immaculate. The owners are great and have thought of every little detail. We especially loved the orange juice served in jars and the morning pastries. We will definitely stay here again.

My husband and I were very pleased with the Rabbit Run. We spent our one year anniversary weekend there in July and had so much fun. The rooms are gorgeous! When my husband said we were going to a B&B I cringed and thought about a dirty house in the woods with granny print drapes...but no! Rabbit Run is modern... More

the rooms are beautiful and very clean... with comfy beds and a nice wet bar. however, we did not feel at all like "guests". even the dingiest motel will offer bottled water (considering the green initiatives, i would have been pleased with purified water in the mini-fridge), whereas RRI had nothing in the fridge except some cream for the coffee... We are concerned that Rabbit Run Inn did not meet the expectations of these guests. It is always our top priority to make our guests comfortable and to ensure that their stay with us is memorable. We regret that we did not know of their concerns while they were staying at the inn. Bottled water is not placed in the... More

The place really is charming with four rooms available for stays that are spacious and very comfortable. A queen sized bed covered in soft feather bedding just begs to be jumped on. A kitchenette provides a small fridge just right for keeping snacks and ‘adult’ beverages in. It is also stocked with milk, juice and butter for the pastries that... More

My husband and I just got back from an anniversary weekend at RRI (the second time we have stayed at the property), and it was absolutely wonderful. Linda Jo and Rodney do a great job of making guests feel welcome, as well as providing information regarding local restaurants, activities, etc. I cannot say enough about the the rooms. The rooms... This is a great place to stay!!! My husband and i went on a weekend getaway for his birthday. We stayed in the seagrass room and loved the trendy decor and private balcony overlooking a cute little pond. My husband and I visited in late June. We stayed for 5 nights and loved every minute of it! The rabbit, (as we affectionately call it) is situated just far enough off of a main hwy. with tons of trees and foliage, so we still felt secluded. The rooms are wonderfully decorated and we rested quite nicely. On most days... More

We stayed 3 nights at this B and B with family. The owners obviously had spent a lot of time and money in decorating this hotel. However it did not have any coziness to it . The owners acted as if they wanted as little contact with guests as possible. The "breakfast" consisted of a muffin dropped off at the... More

The headline of this review implies that we do not provide breakfast. This is not true. We explain to our guests in all of our phone contacts and during the room orientation that we provide a continental breakfast, which we bring to the room, and also provide in each room’s refrigerator. The review also alludes to the absence of a... More
