My wife and I stayed here in March 2012. The inn has about a dozen rooms and there was only one other couple there since it was offseason. During our two day stay we had innovative breakfasts there were very filling and good. The lobby is large but cozy.
We were able to get a great deal on a one night stay through group-on. Our room (#4) was comfortable with a nice lake (across the road) and garden view. We enjoyed the gas fire place to take the chill out of the air. The breakfast was extraordinary and hot beverages and snacks were available during the entire stay. I...

Save your money. Don't stay here, these people are unreasonable and if you have a problem, will not I repeat not give you your money back or work with you. I've stayed at many places in Saugatuck and never met anyone as rude and unwilling to work with us. Our cottage had a big wet spot on the floor and...

I read an article about vacations once. The premise was that people are generally happier, and healthier when they take more frequent local mini vacations then attempting to take that big expensive 2 week trip somewhere far away and try to squeeze all the sights they can out of those 2 weeks. Like some off the other reviewers, we used a Groupon for our stay at Twin Gables. We just stayed one night in the Cabernet room. It is a good size room, has a fireplace, a comfortable king bed, and a large bathroom. This room is on the first floor off in one corner of their large entry room/lobby area. The...

We really enjoyed our visit to Twin Gables Inn. We'd go back in a heartbeat if they offer another Groupon, and even if they don't, we'll probably come back again.
We stayed for two nights during the week in the Bordeaux room. The room was on the small side (but that's to be expected in a historic building), which has...

Let me start off by saying we got this deal through a Groupon, so I'm guessing we got a good deal, so the very average accommodations were probably less a problem to us then those who may have paid more. Our Groupon stated only specific rooms - all which were booked in the main inn so we had to take...

We decided to take advantage of the Twin Gables Inn's New Year's package which was offered via email. It included two nights stay, breakfast both days, a five course dinner on NYE, a chili buffet on New Year's Day and a bottle of champagne and package of chocolate covered strawberries. This was our first B&B experience and it definitely exceeded...

We loved the living room - beautifully decorated with out being over done. The dining area overlooking the water was lovely. We were served berries and cream, fresh scones and eggs Benedict for breakfast. They left the meat off mine which was much appreciated. The breakfast was delicious - perfect in every way! Our room overlooked the water and had...
