A lovely B&B in the heart of Saugatuck. Comfy, quiet and close to everything. Rooms are on the small side, but didn't spend much time in there anyway - too busy roaming the streets and checking out all the unique shops. Plenty of places to spread out on the main floor as well. Breakfast every morning - cereals, fruit, muffins,...

Stay at the Maplewood, and it's a short walk to all of the attractions in downtown Saugatuck. The Hotel is right next to the Post office, with the community park on the other side.
The building is very old, and many of the floors are sagging and creak (adds to the charm). The exterior facade is a beautiful Greek Revival...

This is a very nice place to stay; nicely decorated and conveniently located. The staff are terrific and accomodating. There wasn't one thing I asked for that wasn't granted or made available right away, including wine glasses and opener for wine that I brought, a knife and plate for some cheese that I brought, and when my girlfriend couldn't get...

We love the Maplewood Hotel during the holidays! The inn is decorated so tastefully and we always enjoy a warm, crackling fire in the large common area in the evening with a glass of wine. Our room also has a fireplace and a jacuzzi tub. We like to think of it as our early Christmas gift to each other before...

Two years ago, my now fiancé and I stayed at the Maplewood Hotel for a relaxing weekend getaway from the city. Not only is the location steps away from the downtown activity; but we really enjoyed the onsite amenities including the pool and patio areas along with the convenience of a delicious breakfast each morning. Our experience was so positive...

We had a wonderful time at the Maplewood Hotel with our friends from Chicago. We were warmly greeted, which set the tone for our weekend. The receptionist was able to call ahead and have our name put on a list for a Friday evening dinner at Everyday People's Cafe where reservations are not accepted. Thanks to that call, we only...

We totally enjoyed our stay at this beautiful old hotel. It's a fabulous location for enjoying the town and walking to the waterfront boardwalk. We were upgraded to a nicer room at the lower price since they were not full. We would definitely recommend this to friends.
We just came home from a very fun and relaxing weekend at the Maplewood Hotel. We truly enjoyed our stay and felt so welcomed the minute we arrived. The breakfasts were delicious and creative and it was wonderful eating on the glassed in porch.
The hotel is well maintained, clean and very charming. It is located right in the heart...

This place was simply great in past years, very classy, a certain elegance. This past summer, the innkeeper had the grand children and they had the run of the place. It no longer a place of elegance, peace and quiet. Still very clean and nice, however.
