If this were a $50 room, perhaps I wouldn't complain. However $78 for mediocre cleanliness, an uncomfortable bed, and a bit of a funk smell, needless to say, I am disappointed.

if you are traveling with kids and want a clean place with pool and breakfast this is the place to stay. its a continental breakfast but more then enough to keep you satisfied pool is nice and warm, hot tub was nice, wireless worked great all the staff was very helpful and cheerful during our stay

Overall it was an ok room for the price. To anybody who doesn't know about northern MI, most places are closed up for the winter. So most rooms are going to have a funky smell due to that. We had a great stay at this hotel. It was a great deal for the money. It had a nice breakfast room which never stated "BREAKFAST BUFFET" on their sign. It had cereal, muffins, bagels, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, juice and coffee. The room was very clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. We would stay here again.
