This was our second year in a row we stayed at Le chevrefeuille with our then 2 1/2 year old son. We enjoyed sight seeing and visiting the local markets during the day and would come back for biking, relaxation by the pool, and then would enjoy a delicious meal cooked by the chef and owner Ian. All the meals... More

I spent a week at Le Chevrefeuille in July in the Bread Room. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. As soon as you make that turn into Pechboutier, drive past the sunflower fields, and retieve your luggage via "Le Bagage" wagon....you step into another world - the world of Sara and Ian. Atmosphere is relaxing, beautiful, and... More

Our family of two adults and three children (ages 10-16) stayed at Le Chevrefeuille for three nights in June, 2011. It was one of the highlights of our trip to France! We had two rooms, and both were very comfortable and beautifully furnished. We enjoyed the delicious dinners prepared by the owner on two of our nights there, and those... More

We stayed at Chevrefeuille in July 2011 for 5 nights. We had a family room, which was ideal for the 4 of us (2 adults an 8 yr old and a 7month old). The location is great, very convenient for a lot of things, but very quiet and relaxing. The breakfast is fantastic, lots of choices and a very relaxing... More

We stayed at Le Chevrefeuille in August 2011 for 2 nights (wish it had been a lot longer) and had a lovely stay. We stayed in the family room which was nice and spacious and comfortable and clean. We were with our daughter, 11 and then 14 month old baby boy who was well catered for as there was a... More

We are a family of four, with two boys aged 11 and 13. Our visit was in early October 2011. We stayed in a two bedroom gite. Our stay was amazing and we enjoyed every moment of it. Le Chevrefeuille is in a great location being in the middle of so many towns. It was perfect for the kids with... More

Through the wonderful reviews of Tripadvisor we stayed at Le Chevrefeuille for 5 nights - absolute bliss. Clean and comfortable room, breakfast of freshly baked rustic breads, croissants, cheeses, cold meats, yoghurt, juice, coffee, tea, fruit, and to return to Le Chevrefeuille at the end of a hectic day to peaceful surroundings was always something to look forward to. Ian's meals... More

We agree wholeheartedly with Trip Advisor that Le Chevrefeuille is one of the best places to stay in the Dordogne. We stayed in the Breadroom in mid August, a delightful room with our own terrace which enjoys views of the pool and the shade of the walnut tree. Sara gave us a very warm welcome and a well-received cool drink... More

We stayed with Sara and her family in September and had a wonderful time. The location is ideal for the exploring the Dordoyne area, yet in a quiet location. The standard of accommodation was excellent, it was clean and comfortable, and the style was tasteful. There were nice little extras that we didnt expect. eg tea making facilities in the... More

This was our base for touring Sarlat, La Roque Gageac, Beynac etc and was an enjoyable experience for us. Our hostess Sara was very obliging and helpful and made our stay a pleasant one. My wife fell a little car sick due to the winding and twisty roads leading from Sarlat to Pechboutier but we later learnt that this could... More
