Perfect place to camp while visiting the Fish River Canyon. Ablution blocks spotless. Staff helpful and friendly. Power point and light at sites conveniently located at braai place which also has a table height ledge on which to put items. More

Rooms were simple but comfortable and arranged motel style in the very pleasant grounds. The restaurant is more like a motoring museum so dining there was quite surreal, not the most comfortable dining room, but one not to be forgotten. The food was of good quality and portions generous. The Restaurant at Roadhouse is as brillant for dinner as it is for breakfast. The (hot) showers and toilets on the campsite are spotless. Since we (stupidly enough) had not enough fuel, the owner was so grand to sell some to us. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. A special place in the middle of nowhere. More
