Namutoni is okay if you have minimal expectations ... the lodge is in need of maintenance in many places (we had an air conditioner leaking on the floor, then not working, doors don't close properly.) Staff could use some additional training -- they seemed to not enjoy being in the service industry! Food was very limited and just okay. Proximity... More

We stayed to Etosha Pan for two nights- spending one at Okaukuejo Waterhole (recommend rooms 8 or 9) and the other at Namutoni Bush Chalets. In both camps the rooms had been recently refurbished and they were extremely comfortable and nicely decorated with great outside seating areas (the outside chairs at NBC were uncomfortable but the steel ones at OW... Namutoni is an ok place to stay, but not superb. Waterhole is the worst of all in the parc, the waterholes just outside the camp are very nice though, lots of giraffes and in our case also lions. Campsites are crowded and not that superb, also quite a walk from the facilities. Swimming pool is fine, but rather small and... More

We stayed in a bush chalet, which was a large room with a large bathroom. Although the shower needed fixing, the bathroom was excellent. The room had AC and mini fridge. There are two restaurants, although when we were there only one restaurant was open because of Valentine's Day. We booked a safari and were quite happy with it. The... More

We were booked in here for 2 nights, the reception process was long winded, but when we got to the rooms they were very nice, the down side was where they had sprayed to get rid on insects they were not swept up so there were a number of bugs on the floor, the pool was disgusting on the day... This lodge, with its excellent location in an old fort at the Eastern end of Etosha, is run by the same group as Okaukejo Resort located in West Etosha and should have received a much better rating. Unfortunately, there is no similarity to Okaukejo and the whole place was a great disappointment. The management, if on site, were totally invisible... More

We were there in early December so it was very quiet. A wonderful very friendly and helpful stall. Great mammal and bird viewing in the area.

The campsite is located close to the Von Lindequist Gate in Etosha National Park. We had a very good grass site at a less popular camp ground (compared to Okaukuejo). The amenities were clean & there is a lovely pool area. The restaurants & bar are located in the Old Fort. There is also a floodlit waterhole viewing area from... More

We stayed in another bush chalet but this one did not allow any self-catering which means you have to eat the buffet .You have to park your car in the designated area and make use of a porter to transport your luggage to your chalet. The chalets are - yet again - open-plan bedroom and bathroom but are luxurious! The water... More

This hotel situated in a colonial German fort provides very stylish and comfortable rooms, with air conditioning that works, unlike many other hotels we stayed in in Namibia. The grounds are pleasant and there a interesting waterhole with a viewing platform. The buffet food was adequate. We had a very pleasant stay
