We are staying at Hart's 1 night in May. We have two rooms, 3 and 6. Porter brought our bags up from the dock but it was only a few blocks. The walls are a little thin but maybe our neighbors are just louder than we are used to. Rooms are big, very clean. TV reception poor but that may... More

When we tried to book a hotel for our trip in August 2012, We tried many hotels before Hart's but struggled to get accomodation for 3 nights. When we booked Hart's we knew it was more of an economy Hotel, When we arrived the hotel was as we expected pretty basic, but very clean and tidy, The location like most... More

We stayed the first week of Oct in #6 Queen Deluxe room. Very spacious, very clean. This place is called Hart's with lodging underneath, not to be confused with a B&B that serves gourmet breakfast. Breakfast is continental: cereal, juice, pastries, mini-muffins, coffee, tea. Owner was a doll. This is a great, reasonably priced hotel and we will stay again.

Hart's was one of the most reasonable places we found on the island and we were surprised how close it was to everything! The breakfast was meager but we found a local bakery that we loved (Marc's Double Oven) and had breakfast there each morning. The best thing is really the location. The rooms are clean and comfortable and we... More

My husband & I stayed here for one night in early August. Our friendly hostess told us that this hotel was originally built as a house around the 1850's and was the home of the Island lady schoolteacher, whose last name was Hart. The front two rooms are part of the original home, the rooms in back around the little... More

Our stay at Hart's was very enjoyable. Both the room and bathroom (standard deluxe) were very spacious. It was also very clean and our one year old could crawl on the floor and have fun exploring without us worrying about him being in danger. Our hostess, Sara, was also very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was not great, but we... More

Great location, only a mini-block from the main street. Nice, clean, comfortable and air conditioned and has a TV. Sara, the innkeeper was very accomodating to extra towels and coffee. The breakfast could include fresh fruit such as bananas, otherwise it was fine. Starbucks is only a few blocks away, if you prefer that kind of coffee. The bed was... More

Many people have said this already, but this B&B is clean, cozy, convenient etc. We stayed here during the sailing race weekends (mid july) and it was one of the only affordable places that had rooms available. Immediately I was very happy with the location being so close to downtown, but on a quieter street. It was mere seconds away... More

On may 23, 2010 my husband and I got married on their front lawn. The gentleman running the place was so wonderful to let us use his place for our ceremony. It was a little windy but it was a gorgeous sun-shiny day! I really couldn't have asked for anything better. The location is great! Not on main street where... More
