My wife and I had never been to Ludington. Stayed at the Lamp Lighter and had a nice clean bedroom with a huge bathroom. Had to leave early and the hosts made us breakfast for the road. Look forward to staying there again.

The Innkeepers made you feel like family and the breakfast was just amazing. Jan you are a fabulous cook. What can I say about Maggie, she made you feel like she was your dog. Bill you were helpful on letting us know of the wonderful things there were to do in your lovely city. I appreciate the hospitality you showed...

The Washtenaw Ski Touring Club had the distinct pleasure of visiting Jane and Bill's wonderful B and B. We enjoyed their company and hospitality, their sweet dog, Maggie and their incredible breakfasts.
We did not get to ski, no snow, however we hiked in glorious sunshine.
This is a great place to stay.
Lake Michigan shoreline is clean and beautiful....

The Lamplighter is an excellent B&B! Bill and Jane were so gracious and provided our family with such a warm and friendly stay. Breakfasts were definitely gourmet. We were spoiled for sure. My husband now expects this every morning after we get home...not! Of course Maggie added an extra amount of love that was special as well. The Lamplighter is...
