Ther Sevice we received was great. The pool was wonderful. The check in we had was excellent. We felt welcomed and it was a feeling that will make us come back the next time we are up here. The eggs in the morning could use some flavor and the texture was bad. Even the hard boiled eggs were like rubber. This... More

We checked into the Hometown Inn on Sunady, March 25th, 2012, and would be spending two nights to attend a funeral in nearby Onaway the next day. We had a prior stay at this facility a number of years back when it was a Holiday Inn Express. It has gone downhill with the changing of names. The front desk clerk... More

My stay here was a very pleasant one. The staff that works here is very helpful and friendly. Unlike other hotels that I have stayed in the staff will actually help out. The pool was very clean and the hot tub was perfect. I enjoyed the private swimming time that let's the adults get away from the kids. The rooms... More

We got the last room here on a Saturday night. With our AAA discount, the room was $119 + tax. For that amount of money, in the Midwest, I expect a lot more than what we got. Maybe they just figured they could soak us since we were desperate. The room was clean, but the furnishings were drab and looked... More

We have stayed at different hotels in this city four times this year, and we haven't been quite happy with the other ones. This one really stood out from the rest! Check in was really quick and the staff at the front desk were patient and very helpful. They had a lot of information about the area and were willing... More

The most important thing in any hotel are the mattresses. This hotel should have replaced them long ago. My wife rejected the first room because of the mattresses, thought the second room would be better. Since we were both tired, we just decided to go for it. Big mistake! Like sleeping on a swayback horse. The mattress topper felt fluffy,... More
