We had stayed at this hotel MANY times when it was a Best Western and were very disappointed with our stay in July 2011. First, upon check in, there was a giant dead bug on the bathroom floor, the complimentary shampoo bottle obviously hadn't been picked up in weeks because when I went to use it, there was crud caked... This was our first time at the Grandville Inn and we were somewhat leery about staying at a non-chain hotel, however upon arrival we found the grounds to be very neat and eyepleasing. The rooms were awesome, plenty of room and very clean The staff was very helpful in helping us find restaurants, offering coupons, etc. Also, very friendly. If we... More

We stayed from Saturday through Monday. Our room was very wonderful. It was clean and fresh, the decore was attractive. The two person, in room jacuzzi was perfect. The bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. The included breakfast served in the pool room was much better than expected, the food was varied, hot & cold cereal, make your... More

We booked a non-smoking room, to find the room smelling of, and the bed reeking of, cigarette smoke. The people at the front desk explained that this was a smoking motel for 30 years and just recently changed to non-smoking. Despite their best efforts, the old "smoking" rooms still smell strongly of cigarettes. If you are at all sensitive to... More

Good place for a famly. Has indoor pool and breakfast is included. The window unit is a tad noisy but not terrible. Bed was good but pillows were a bit lacking. For a night or two would be great for anyone. More

Beware of the hidden fees! A $1.50 safe security fee, a $20 deposit fee, and lots of other little extras they do not tell you about when checking in. While it is not a terrible hotel, I certainly would not recommend it, especially not at $100+/night, it is more like a $39 hotel at best. More

This hotel is a nice in-between to stay and visit with my family that lives nearby. We were looking forward to doing our usual "pizza by the pool" and have my two sisters come for a swim with my kids. However, this hotel failed to mention during booking or on their website that they do not allow guests into the... More

I would like to apoligize to you for finding the week-end wrist band policy to be a dissatisfaction. We at the hotel are getting very positive feed back from our week-end guest for the wrist band policy. Our paying guests have full access to the pool area and pool and visitors for our guests are allowed to visit in the... More

Worst hotel experience ever! Stayed in July for the Little League State Championships in Grandville. Two of the 3 nights were completely out of control. Three teams were in the hotel together. Although the parents of the boys are ultimately respondsible, I feel the hotel staff ( of 1 ) is respondsible for keeping order of the hotel. Just some... More

When we stayed at this hotel, there were little tiny red bed bugs that bite my husband. They drew blood and were allover the mattress. It was the most awful thing that I have ever seen. It was worse then a cheap $30 a night hotel. I would never stay here again!!! And reccomed that you don't either, unless you... More
