I thought the character and the style of this Bed and Breakfast was really nice. It had so much charm that was well maintained and cared for. We were offered a nicer room that was available which was very thoughtful. The two Dalmatians were very friendly and well behaved. My husband and I like going to bed and breakfasts but... More

Thanks so much for your kind words! We do want to point out that the rooms on the north side are NOT the rooms with the views of the gardens. The quieter rooms are on the north, the garden is on the south and the street is on the east. We're disappointed to hear that you were not pleased with... More

Our stay at Peaches was delightful. Jane and Doug are wonderful hosts. After making the long drive during a significant snowfall we were ready to unpack and relax. The home was warm and cozy and Doug was hard at work clearing the driveway for our arrival. Jane made a delicious breakfast the following morning. Peaches is very close to downtown,... More

A stay at Peaches is like a stay at a dear friend's home. Proprietors Jane and Doug Wondergem are at once professional, gracious and welcoming. Room appointments are clean and classy, and the house is comfortable, quiet and a local historical icon. Fear not the barking at the door as you will be enthusiastically greeted by two dalmatians, Dechien and... More

This was our first time staying in a bed and breakfast in the states and we really enjoyed our stay! We were there two nights with another couple, visiting the local breweries. The house has an old, antique-y feel (the floors squeak and there are limited electrical outlets), but it makes for a wonderful weekend away from every-day life! The... More

Here's a chance to enter the Grand Rapids of 1916, to experience the style and architectural grace of a Williamson & Crowe building. The house reflects the style of early 20th century living -- parlors, foyers, fireplaces, skylights, and French doors. And oh! Those yummy blueberry, white chocolate pancakes for breakfast!

Needed a place to stay that accepted our cute but old Yorkie....15.5 years old. He wouldn't hurt a fly and was willing to stay in the room and sleep most of the day. Jane and Doug were very accommodating and their Dalmatians...Dechien and Delta were very well behaved (only a few moments of excitement...of course...it was Art Prize...strangers walking in... More

We are very sorry about your experience with our intern. She should not have locked up until she was sure everyone was back. It's not always easy being a teaching inn. We do also apologize for barging in on you in the morning. Especially during ArtPrize, guests often leave their vehicles in our lot while they tour and we had... More

My husband and I stayed overnight for Art Prize. The owner never intoduced herself. We were taken upstairs to our room in the dark by her intern. I had to ask her to turn on a light at the top of the stairs. We went out to dinner in the evening and were told to ring the door bell when... More

Charming B&B in a gorgeous part of town. My room was very comfortable and spacious and the dalmatians are beautiful and very well-behaved. Within walking distance to downtown and to great coffeehouses, restaurants, and a bakery on Wealthy St.

Pleasant hosts. Large and comfortable room. Rare opportunity to "live" in a 1916 Georgian Manor style home and tour the Heritage Hill District. The two Dalmatians made things lively and entertaining. We will return.
