We had Mapquest directions and found the hotel with no problem, even though it is a bit off the beaten path. Check in was fast and easy. We certainly appreciate your feedback and apologize for the poor communication with our shuttle pickup and the shower temperature in your bathroom. Usually we receive good reviews for our shuttle service, but obviously we dropped the ball on your second day with us. This hotel was somewhat disappointing. On the positive side, I would rate the service as very good. There are older Tripadvisor reviews which mention poor service. Traveled to Detroit on business and found the Omni to be a good place to stay. Helpful staff, nice rooms, and decent food on the restaurant. My only concern is that the hotel's location is a little isolated. more
Thanks for your review of the hotel. We are not located right in the heart of downtown, but a mile to the east of the riverwalk. For that reason we do offer a complimentary shuttle to downtown. Please contact the concierge for hours of operation.
