It is a place were you can sit by the fireplace, cuddled up with a good book and a fresh cup of coffee. Our room had a view of Lake Superior and was comfortable in size. I'm surprised reading the other reviews, our stay was exceptionally pleasant. Yes, I found it odd to wash out evening coffee cups ourselves, but I simply left them in our room and they were taken by the housekeepers. Problem solved.
