I found this Inn to be charming. The front lobby was brightly decorated for the holidays, with a fire roaring in both the lobby and tavern, but also in the dining area. Yes, the furniture in the rooms is a bit older-- but I like that for a 'country feel.' I do not understand reviewers who write about every hotel... more

We stayed here for one night. This was booked through 'America as you like it'. It was a large hotel and one the whole quite good. Our room certainly was clean and did not smell. The breakfast was fine and we have good service. The receptionist was realy helpful and told us a better way to get to our next... more

we stayed for one night after virgin holidays booked our itinery. The hotel was dated and inhabited by elderly patrons. Our room had no airconditioning and smelt musky and of other people. The pillows were years old and smelt of other people. We were reluctant to stay the night. more

We arrived for a wedding a day early. The rooms are definitely dated and they claim to have wireless availability throughout the hotel however it was only working in the lobby. I had a problem with the sink in bathroom which was leaking all over the place. The initial response was quick for a weekend however he could not fix... more

This Inn is dated and awful. We only stayed one night (THANK GOD) on a tour of New England through Virgin. I agree with the earlier comment and cannot understand why Virgin are using this hotel when all of the other 7 hotels we stayed in were excellent. The town of Williamstown is just one street and there is nothing... more

I have been coming to Williamstown for over twenty years. I have stayed at most of the hotels in town over that time. I have stayed at The Williams Inn many times, but I had not been there in a while. The Williams Inn has a good location, but has always been a bit tired on the inside. However, The... more

Acceptable in most regards, but the walls are paper thin -- we could hear every word uttered in the room next to ours, even when the inhabitants were speaking in quiet voices. Don't stay here unless you have to. more

My wife has had business in the northern Berkshires recently and stayed three times at the Williams Inn in the last couple months. I went along for two of the trips and handled most of the arrangements. We stayed in each of a double-double, a "traditional king" and (from my wife's description of the stay without me) what must have... more

We stayed here as part of a New England tour booked through Virgin Holidays and I am at a lost as to why they would book us into a place like this when all the other hotels on the tour were pretty nice. We should have realised something was wrong at check-in as the lady on reception was surly to... more
