My husband and I were going to Pittsfield to see a show Christmas week, and decided to stay at The Orchards Hotel in Williamstown. We were familiar with the area, and even though, it was 30 minutes from the theater we decided to stay there. Since it was a Thursday, and I had a AAA card, we got an excellent...

We recently stayed here on a Sunday night while visiting our kids at school. It was pretty empty but the service was good in both the hotel and restaurant. We had a courtyard room which was very large with an elevated king sized poster bed. The bath was also large with 2 separate sink areas (helpful for 2 people getting...

I travel for work and spend more than 5 months a year in hotels around the world. In fact I normally stay at Leading Hotels of the World and was slightly concerned about traveling to a rural environment as I am accustomed to the highest standards in hotel accomodations. I must say, the Orchards Hotel in Williamstown is up there...

Great hotel, great location - it even snowed heavily in October, which we thought was great.
Room was extremely comfortable - service good. Only criticism was that no complimentary drinks for most of day/night - only 2 hours a day.

My girlfriends and I had a great experience at the Orchard's Hotel when we traveled to western Massachusetts to visit a few museums in the area. We took advantage of a midweek Berkshire on a Budget promotion that the hotel was offering and we couldn't have been happier. The rooms and bathrooms were spacious, and breakfast and dinner at the Gala...

After last minute plans to stay in Williamstown (and last minute lodging plans), we found ourselves at The Orchards. The room was very spacious and well worth the cost. Very comfortable bed with a great bathroom and shower. Other than the fireplace not working (a minor luxury for us), everything went very smoothly.
Definitely coming back to this place when...

For this trip to New England we rate the Orchard’s Hotel as the top hotel to stay at with the Viking at Newport a second and the Langham, Boston third. We spent three very pleasant days enjoying the luxury and comfort of the Orchard’s and stayed in a Courtyard Room with pleasant views over the gardens. We ate dinner and...

We checked into the hotel around 2:30pm and were greeted by this lovely young man at the front desk. We had asked upon check-in if we could speak to a manager or supervisor to see if a possible upgrade was available to one of their fireplace rooms and believe or not the supervisor was the gentlemen at the desk and...

This was a sort of home coming for me having gone to school in the area many years ago. I loved the vintage feel of the property and the room furnishings. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and the view from our window was soul satisfying. It is conveniently located close to many stores, and not far from downtown. I didn't...
