Six of us spent the night here as part of a birthday weekend, and it certainly was memorable, but not all good. This corner of MA is charming. The inn itself is charming. The management is questionable. There was a lot of phone tag and e-mails when I was trying to book our rooms. I had questions, but it took... More

The approach to the Paquachuck Inn is a cascading series of special moments. Leaving the highway behind, Main Road takes you through the village of Westport, which is spotted with 21st Century wind turbines and the excellent Lee’s Market. From here the road slopes gently toward the shoreline with the last leg being akin to a trip back in time.... More

I would sum up the Paquachuck in one word: "Authentic." This is a place that a thousand inns, restaurants, and B&B's would like to be but aren't. Everything about the rooms, the location, and the whole experience is steeped in the history of Westport, MA, its people, fishery, and agricultural past and present. The harpoons and scrimshaw, whale vertebrae, and... More

Both Brenda and Mary were warm and friendly, welcoming us into their home and taking great care of us throughout our stay. Slept peacefully here for 3 nights and hardly ever wanted to leave the room, in spite of perfect weather (although we did swim from the dock). Quiet, very little traffic, and situated right next to the water of... More

We stayed for 3 nights over the Fourth of July weekend. Our son's wedding reception was on site. Our immediate family occupied three rooms and the rest of the rooms were for other family and friends in the wedding party. Each and every cozy room was beautifully furnished and appointed. Every little detail was nicely thought out, from the colorful... More

I stayed at the Inn on 6/3/11. When I arrived to check-in I received a friendly welcome from Mary . She gave me a tour of the Inn and the grounds. The interior of the Inn, the room and bathroom were clean and bright. The exterior of the Inn is unimpressive but inside it is quite nice. The room had... More

The Paquachuck Inn is a great weekend getaway. It's located right in a quaint fishing village, very peaceful and relaxing. The rooms are beautiful and the location is perfect. Some may question shared bathrooms, but in five stays my wife and I have never had a problem. Right across the water is the Back Eddy restaurant (bring your checkbook) and... More

The reason for the trip was fishing, eating, and sleeping with seafront surroundings. Our expectations were met.The Westport River is 30 seconds out the back door, and the seaguls can be heard through any open window. The garden eating area is in keeping with the waterfront atmosphere, and the facilities are charming, as are the staff. More

Cozy, casual and homey with a delicious generous breakfast, it was a bit overpriced for the size of the room. The staff was very amiable. More

Our family recently spent a magical weekend at the Paquachuck. We were there for our son's wedding and hosted both the Rehearsal Dinner and a next-day "cookie reception" at the Inn. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left we felt completely welcome and at home. We were greeted by Brenda, the owner, and Michelle, the manager who... More
