This return visit to Somerville was fine EXCEPT the previous occupant smoked, primarily in the bathroom. My asthma was aroused but not enough to be a problem. This is a shame because every other aspect of the visit was fine. I feel the solution is reservation personnel should attempt to be emphatic about only non smokers being assigned to non...

Stayed at La Quinta over Memorial Day weekend. We picked this hotel because it was the lowest priced hotel with close proximity to Boston. The rooms were small but adequate. The queen beds were relatively comfortable. There was tiny fridge in the room as well. Sink area outside of bathroom is small. The rooms seemed to have been renovated. There...

Floor was wet in two places and sticky in a number--I did not like the experience of having to wear shoes while in my bedroom.
Gym is an exercise bike, a treadmill, two 5-lb weights, and an old-fashioned ski-elliptical. All new and clean, but bottom end machines.
Breakfast is just barely passable, but not extremely far below the La Quinta...

I have a daughter attendinf Tufts University and This hotel is only about a 10 min. Drive to Tufts. In the past you could only get the Internet in the Lobby but it is now available in the rooms. Good continental breakfast. They allow early check in (I have arrived as early as 8:00 am). The staff is great and...

Stayed here during the Easter Break and there were lots of families. It's not far from Cambridge and the parking is free and plentiful. Getting to the hotel is a little complicated - the maze of bridges can confuse you. The rooms are clean and comfortable.
At $150 near Cambridge, a good price, we didn't expect very much. It's not easy to find by our usual standards, but it may be easy compared to other Boston locations. Otherwise, it was really very nice. The room was large with a desk and recliner, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was basic but free. We stayed 3...

We stayed at the La Quinta on Cummings Street May 3-5. We were in Boston on a stopover trip to Cape Cod and wanted to see some of Boston. This was a great location for us because we picked up the Hop on Hop off trolley tour in Charlestown, and we were only 2 miles away from that area. We...
