My boyfriend and I stayed here for a long weekend in late May. Overall we were happy with our choice but have a few pros and cons. The motel is in a GREAT location. Its across from a nice beach and a very short walking distance to Bearskin Neck. The bed was comfortable and the room had everything we needed.... More

Recently stayed at The Eagle House Beachside earlier this month as a happy return guest . The location is great, just a few second walk to a small public beach and convienently located to downtown. Very peaceful and serene. The rooms were very clean with a fresh feel and well kept. Some furniture was still a bit dated, but it... More

I stayed in room 4, and found it clean, comfortable, and cute. The bathroom is dated but clean. The in-room fridge, microwave, and WiFi only add to the convenience. The location is great--just across from the beach, next to a historic cemetery, and a short walk from the shopping area. Having spent many summers with family in Rockport in the... More

Location great! Bed was very comfortable Gary, the inn keeper, was very kind. The rooms were good enough, decor was yard sale miss matched. Mini fridge was a nice touch, however, if your going to keep a fridge unplugged make sure you prop it open. Smelled like sour milk. The walls were paper thin we could hear someone snoring next... Stayed in a room in a building located in front of the main hotel. The room was very sweet, no frills but with everything you would need including a table and chair to sit outside with coffee. Room / Bathroom were very clean with crisp décor. A well maintained but slightly older property and more than suitable for tourists but... More

Gary was so friendly and accommodating on the phone, it was a prelude to a very nice overnight stay in Rockport. Very basic room but with a lovely crisp feel to furnishings. The location was fabulous, across the street from a small beach and a very short walk to the fun, quaint town. We made a very last minute decison to... More

My son and I stayed at the Eagle House Beachside for the first time and we look forward to returning in the near future! For many years, we have visited Rockport as a day trip, but never had the pleasure of staying overnight. We could only stay for one night and the Eagle House Beachside thankfully gave us this opportunity... More

This motel is one of the best locations in Rockport, directly across from Front Beach. The downtown area is only a few blocks away. The views from this beach are some of the best on the Atlantic coast. Restaurants are close by. We stayed in a decent sized room with a king bed. The bed is new and very comfortable.... More

Great location across the street from a public beach. Walking distance to many shops and resturants. New owner doing remodel. A little rough around the edges. But has refrigerator, coffee maker and wireless internet. No phones in the rooms. Front desk not always staffed. All that said for a beach front no a bad choice.
