The Brasswood Inn (formerly the White Wind Inn) is prominently located bed & breakfast right on Commercial Street in the West End of Provincetown. The Brasswood offers a warm, relaxed atmosphere where all are welcome. Our historic bed & breakfast is just steps from harbor beaches, restaurants, shops, and galleries that make Provincetown unlike anywhere else. Enjoy our ample common spaces, including a newly expanded back patio and iconic front porch, with occasional live music featuring local artists. Explore each charming room to find the unique features you are looking for, including private balconies, water views, gas fireplaces and more. We now have an innkeepers bar where we can serve guests a variety of signature cocktails, wine and local beers. Discover why many of our guests consider ours their "home away from home." The Brasswood Inn is a stately, 11-room Victorian mansion with updated amenities and ample indoor and outdoor space for guests to enjoy. The term “Brasswood” is a musical reference inspired by the materials used to create co-owners Tom’s and Brian’s primary instruments: the trumpet (brass) and the marimba (wood), respectively. Music plays such an important role in their lives that each room is now named after an influential American composer, songwriter and/or performer who has had a profound impact on them personally and has contributed significantly to the identity of American music.

Wow! Just wow! A weekend winter getaway at the Brasswood Inn was an absolute dream. The location was superb with being right on Commercial St; your stay includes parking which is an additional perk. A highlight at the Brasswood Inn was the incredible hospitality by the owners, as well as the remarkable breakfast. I have many friends visiting the area in the coming months and this will be my #1 recommendation for lodging.

Property's Favourite Review
The guys who own and run this inn are very hospitable and thoughtful, from advanced emails and calls to welcoming you upon arrival. Convenient free assigned parking. Individualized breakfast offerings are tasty, brought to your room or in lobby, with beverages available throughout the day. Center of town inn, older place but well maintained. My room had a balcony as well. Compact ensuite bathroom but serviceable. mini fridge and tv in room as well and a comfortable upholstered chair too. They have excellent rates for being in the center of town close to everything. Very comfortable main floor lounge area and a very nice back patio for good weather sitting too, plus the front porch area is excellent for people watching on Commercial Street. It's the host's hospitality and thoughtfulness that would bring me back here again.

Looking for a classy and truly welcoming place to stay in downtown Provincetown? The Brasswood Inn is YOUR place. Impeccably clean, comfortable/stylish furnishings, delicious home baked breakfasts by Tom, welcome drink from their in-house bar, free onsite parking, well-kept grounds, and common spaces filled with relaxation ambience are some of the qualities that guarantee I’ll be returning. My pup Wilson will be returning because he was welcomed with treats, his own towel, clean-up bags and a cozy doggy quilt to curl up on in common spaces while mom socialized with other guests. Perhaps though, the #1 reason to make a return visit is the hospitality of the innkeepers Brian and Tom. These guys have found their calling transforming an old sea captain’s residence into a tasteful inn that allows their kind and outgoing personalities to shine for their guest’s pleasure. They have the perfect ‘at your service, but not in your face’ vibe. Everything at the Brasswood Inn is done with attention to intention-see you again soon! Ps-How many fish ARE in the Koi Pond?!

We had a chance to stay at The Brasswood Inn early in the fall. What a great spot! The inn is beautiful and impeccably maintained with lovely common spaces, tastefully appointed guest rooms and super comfortable bedding. The front porch overlooking Commercial Street and the harbor front beyond it is a fabulous spot to sit with a coffee or a cocktail to take in the hustle and bustle of Provincetown passing by. Speaking of cocktails, the Bloody Mary with its distinctive Cajun flair was the best I’ve ever had, and paired with Tom’s homemade cheddar and chive biscuits, it made for the perfect late-morning treat! There is an absolutely lovely back patio complete with comfortable furniture and sails offering shade. A beautiful sanctuary in the busy heart of downtown. The story isn’t complete without mentioning the innkeepers. Tom and Brian are just perfect for the role! Their gracious hospitality is warm and welcoming. Even with a house full of guests and a few four legged friends to boot, yes the inn is dog friendly, which is perfect for us, the innkeepers took the time to get to know us, and to share some great insider tips about P-Town. If you’re looking for a great place to stay in the middle of it all go straight to The Brasswood Inn!

I've lived in Massachusetts for almost 30 years and this was my first time to P-town and I could not have picked a better place to stay. From the moment of booking and speaking with Brian over the phone I could feel the warmth and comfort that we truly experienced while staying at the Inn. The homemade breakfast is fabulous and very practical because you fill out a sheet of precisely what you want the night prior and then when you wake up it's ready for you. The rooms are cozy with gas fireplaces and each one's dedication to an American musician is a unique touch, warmer than a sterile number. My husband and I and our three sons had four rooms for two nights and were in town for a family wedding. We found the Inn's location to be quite convenient and everyone working at the Inn to be very friendly accommodating. My husband and I are looking forward to returning for a weekend sojourn some time next spring or early summer.

Location, hosts, breakfast and rooms all great. You can’t go wrong staying here for your Provincetown adventure! Sitting on the front porch, while sipping a cocktail or glass of wine and people watching can’t be beat. Oh, did I mention they have their own bar?

This is our second year myself, husband and Maddie (dog) have stayed. We can’t say enough about this establishment. From the moment you arrive you feel like family. Everyone is very kind and welcoming. The property is maintained so well and the rooms are clean and very comfortable. Plus the location is prime in our opinion. The front porch is a great place getting sun during the day and just relax and enjoy in the evening.
