I only stayed here one night, but the staff were very friendly and welcoming, nice personal service and some tips on where to eat around town. A nice continental breakfast was also included. The inn was about 5 mins walk from the ferry and the main strip. The room was small but had everything I needed, including a private bathroom.... More

Dexter's has new owners who, I think, just needed to get through the season so they can shut down for the winter and really make it their own. It is definitely dated and needs work, but they are going to spend the winter renovating most rooms and refreshing the others. We were so pleased with the location; we just left... More

I don't like doing the negative stuff on here, but in all honesty Dexters was probably the grottiest spot we stayed in during a 3 week fly drive on the East Coast, and the most expensive as well. The location is good, the car parking is good, the room wasn't good at all. I've seen a previous review where the... More

Tom, I am sorry your experience at Dexter's Inn did not meet your expectations. We are coming to the close of our first season of owning the Inn and are planning extensive renovations of the guestrooms, bathrooms and furnishings starting this winter which we are excited to debut phase one for the 2012 season. I trust the new rooms would... More

I loved staying at Dexters. It's located in the center of town within walking distance of everything, yet t's set back from the road providing a quiet & private serenity nestled in the heart of town. My host, Kevin was wonderful - helpful & friendly. My room was cozy and clean, very simple with a spacious shared bath across the... More

We just got back from 4 days away at Provincetown and stayed at Dexter's Inn. The location is amazing, less than 5 minute walk from center of Commercial Street. The inn is tucked away and secluded. The owners are Kevin and David and they were great. They had the best dinner suggestions and we had AMAZING meals in Provincetown. The... More

We stayed at Dexter's Inn over the 4th of July weekend. This was one of the few places that would allow us to stay only 4 nights, most places have a 5-7 night minimum stay requirement over the summer event weekends. Also, the rates were the lowest we could find in town for a double size bed with a private... More

Including taxes and fees, this "quaint' Cape Cod Inn cost more than what it often costs to stay at a Westin or Marriott. For $200 a night, we got a dark, small, and cramped room. The furniture looked as though the owners found it for free by the side of the road. For work I regularly stay at HIlton, Radisson,... More

Pros: very friendly and polite owners, they were bought the inn 2 days ago. Good breakfast, everything is refilled until 11am, very good breakfast schedule! and in a beautiful setting in the courtyard. Good cleanliness, shared bathrooms very clean, as sheets and everything.
