For years, we've been staying and eating at "The Commons," and when it was sold we were very disappointed. But this summer we went back there for dinner - and wat a surprise! An entirely new menu, ranging from inexpensive, informal (burgers, pizzas) to eloquent lobsters, the best in town. Sitting up on the terrace overlooking Commercial Street and the... More

I had stayed at the Waterford Inn when it was known as The Commons about 14 years ago and remembered it as a comfortable, lovely and quiet property and so decided to try it again having read favorable Trip Advisor reviews online for it since it's refurbishment in 2009. If it has been refurbished, then I am at a loss... More

While in Cape Cod we had the pleasure of staying at the Waterford Inn, in Provincetown, in July. Al is so helpful and so friendly. The restaurant was our favorite in Provincetown. Al helped us to get our GPS fixed and was always willing to be of service. The room was clean and very nice! We would gladly return to... More

First the good: the house is very, very nice. It's roomy and well decorated. It's conveniently located, but far enough from the street that it's serene. The breakfast was excellent, and the young woman who maintained it was wonderful. I feel uncomfortable in B&Bs that are too close-- like the owner hears every move-- but The Waterford is spacious, the... More

My husband and I spent our honey moon at the hotel a decade ago and decided we would go back but this time with our two daughters. The hotel has been delicately refurbished, the rooms are bright and run the gamut of sweet to beachy chic. The view from our third floor room was absolutely breathtaking, and the location in... More

just spent a night with friends at The Waterford Inn and we loved every minute of it. All three rooms were incredibly big, the decor was laid back, the water pressure (always hit & miss in B&B's) was excellent. The Waterford is part of a little complex that includes a bar and restaurant. we ate in the restaurant and i... More

At the last minute I decided I needed to get away for a few days during the Feb. school vacation. When I called Waterford Inn they offered me a premier room at a discount price. The suite was beautiful; it had a sitting room with big sunny windows, the bed was very comfortable, and the restaurant attached to the inn... More

We stayed here over Valentine's Day weekend, and couldn't have been happier. The 150 year old inn has been recently renovated, but maintains all of its classic charm. We stayed in a cozy suite on the 3rd floor with an amazing view of P-town. The bar and restaurant are lovely and serve great food and drinks. Our hosts Al and... More

The inn has lots of charm, room decor is extremely tasteful and the innkeeper could not be more hospitable. We were here for a winter weekend getaway The Waterford Inn was perfect. The inn is in the center of town, yet set back enough with water views which make it ideal. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Very good restaurant is... More
