As other reviewers have pointed out, it is impossible to open the windows. We ended up here because there was nowhere else in the area, and this was the only room they had. Just stayed here for one night. The hotel is VERY, VERY dated (think lots of dusty silk floral arrangements in the Lobby). Textiles in poor shape - same for bathroom fixtures/hard surfaces. Carpets and upholstery need cleaning badly. The heater is VERY noisey. It was tempting to put up with the chill rather than listen to that racket.
