Blackinton Manor is a charning house and offers a lovely large living room for guests to gather in. The hosts have collected menus from local restaurants for their guests to peruse. The breakfast included choices of juices, cereals, and a breakfast sweet (we enjoyed banana bread one morning, pumpkin bread the next). In addition to this generous buffet, we were... more

We just stayed at the Blackinton for a long weekend and the only thing that wasn't perfect was the weather. It's located halfway between North Adams and Williamstown--making it perfect for visiting the Williams College, Clark and MassMOCA museums, Williamstown Theatre festival, and Vermont syrup, pottery and chocolate specialty shops. The sleigh-style bed in the Queen Anne's Room (one flight... more

We had some trouble using the internet service at first and we found that we would have preferred to stay closer to Lenox for the tourist attractions. Also we were not used to being around so much pretty old furniture. We were delighted to go through the area north of Pittsville that reminded us of our visit to Switzerland. It... more

We stayed here with several members of our extended family for Williams College graduation weekend and we couldn't have been happier. The house is lovely. The rooms are large and well appointed. The breakfast was delicious. Laura and Paul, the owners, could not have been more welcoming or accommodating. They were continuously gracious and flexible as our family group shifted... more

The room was luxurious - nice king sized bed, great mountain view, clean, warm, comfortable, relaxing, and quiet. The service was fantastic! The inn keepers really made sure we felt at home and enjoyed our stay. The location was great as well - close to museums, restaurants, spas, and shops. Overall, we highly recommend Blackinton Manor to anyone looking for... more

The Blackinton Manor is a beautifully decorated historic property. The rooms are very comfortable. The innkeepers are gracious and clearly interested in making one's stay enjoyable. The breakfast is quite good, on the weekends and holidays outstanding. The innkeepers are interested in good cooking and it shows. Hal and Betsy Piper more

Located mid-way between North Adams and Williamstown, the B&B is conveniently located but 1/4 mile off the main highway, where it was very quiet at night (until the night-time freight train rumbled slowly through the valley on the tracks nearby). The B&B is a grand, 150 year-old mansion that was home to the founding owner of a textile mill across... more

On the occasion of my son's wedding we had the pleasure of staying at the Blackinton Manor Inn. To say the inn is beautiful is an understatement. Tastefully well appointed, each room is unique. The common " living " areas are museum quality in decor , yet one feels as if they are home. Laura and Paul, the innkeepers are... more

This lovely 1832 Italianate mansion is full of architectural character, and has been decorated beautifully. Owners Laura and Paul were friendly and attentive, and full of (accurate) advice on restaurants and local cultural attractions. They also provide a delicious and filling breakfast on the weekend, complete with fresh fruit and muffins. The inn is located halfway between North Adams and... more

This B&B is a lovely old home, once the manor of the owner of the Blackinton mill. Our room was beautiful, imaculate and had a jacuzzi bathtub big enough for two! it is located very close to Williamstown (home of Williams College), Mass moCa and The Clark museum. Owner/ Innkeepers laura and paul are knowledgable about the area and provided... more
